The Path Less Taken

We all should have a meaningful and fulfilling mission in life. I’m of the opinion that this personal mission should not be one that has been handed to us, forced upon us, or that we’ve been coerced or cajoled into. It must originate from our own unique passion, talent, interest, understanding and ability.

I discovered my passion, talent, interest and ability early on and knew what my vocation would be before finishing High School. A meaningful introduction to the craft of creativity, fortunately encouraged by a few standout educators in my life, along with my personal observation as to what is and isn’t important in the creation of a fulfilling life set my foot firmly on the road I’ve followed. The element of understanding the why of it all has steadily progressed as I’ve walked this chosen path to where I am today.

Regardless of your current position, age, ability or interests it’s never too early or too late to begin your personal path to a meaningful mission in your life. There are so many wonderful examples of those who’ve started and fulfilled ambitious missions. As I share more you’ll be introduced to some of these wonderful people who’ve made a meaningful difference in not only their life but in the lives of others around the world.

The mission of The Davis Arts Legacy is to encourage and influence the processes employed in the creation of more creators across the full spectrum of the arts and sciences. I happen to be a visual artist, but I have interests in a broad range of subjects which helps me in the creation of my personal art projects. I write, teach, share and apply the skills I’ve learned in my creative field to help encourage others to creatively find their own unique path to pursue.

The discovery of a meaningful and fulfilling mission in life begins with intention. It’s not a mistake that it takes a focused and calculated plan for personal success.
